Latest Updates from Our Project:

Poll closed, WordsyBot returns, and a travel update!

Hello Wordsy backer! Thank you again for contributing to this campaign.

First order of business: the poll. It was a very narrow affair, finishing at 50.8% in favor of including the upside-down letters, as opposed to 49.4% who preferred the cards without the letters.

It was a close call, but I'm going to print the cards with the upside-down letters. Even if it helps a small fraction of total Wordsy players, it will be worth it. Apologies to the half of you who preferred it without the upside-down letters, but I think this is the better choice in the long run.

Thank you to everyone who voted, and especially who shared their opinion in the comments!

Leaving for Dallas on Wednesday

I will be driving from my home of Jersey City, NJ to Dallas, TX on Wednesday. It's 22 total hours of driving (I will stop in Tennessee halfway through). Why am I doing this?

On Saturday, November 12, I'll be at DFW Nerd Night.

On Sunday, November 13, I'll be at Dallas Games Marathon.

On Monday, November 14, I'll be at DDGcon, run by the Dallas Designer Group. Look for my table at 5 pm, where I'll be showing off Wordsy.

On Tuesday, November 15, I'll be back at DDGcon, speaking about the 10 Mistakes New Designers Make, at 5 pm.

And then starting on Wednesday, November 16, all the way through Sunday, November 20, I'll be at BGG.CON! This will be my 10th consecutive year at the show, and my second as a vendor, so it will be very special. Look for me in the Aviators room, booth 912. I'll be showing off Wordsy and selling off the last of my copies of The Network before the reprint arrives in February.

This means that replies from me may be a little slower over the next couple of weeks. If you don't get the answer to your question in an hour or two, don't fret! I will get back to you as soon as I can, I promise.

WordsyBot is back!

It took me some finagling, but WordsyBot is back on Twitter! It'll be running 24/7 from now on. Each game is 30 minutes long, and you'll notice breaks of about an hour every 6 games.

Go ahead and give it a try! Here are the rules, and here is @WordsyBot's Twitter page. If you enjoy it, please retweet a board and get your friends to try it.

My next update will likely be from the road. In the meantime, keep spreading the word about Wordsy!
